Spine Surgery
Spine Surgery is a surgical specialty within the general practice of Orthopedics that deals specifically with the reconstruction, repair or correction of diseased or damaged structures of the spine. Wenatchee Orthopaedics spine surgeons have incorporated minimally invasive spine surgery techniques into their practice. Spine surgery can greatly relieve or eliminate back pain in many circumstances, but not all conditions that cause back and neck pain can be corrected by spine surgery and must be managed medically.
Medical Management of chronic pain is not a part of our spine surgery program. Initial screening for back pain is typically done by a primary care physician who then refers cases to the Spine Surgeon for consultation and if possible surgical intervention.
CWH Wenatchee Orthopaedic’s two spine surgeons accept requests for consultation or second opinions from many primary care physicians. If you do not have a primary care physician in the area, please consider one of the Board-Certified Internal Medicine physicians at CWH Internal Medicine located at 933 Red Apple Road, Wenatchee, WA by calling 509-665-6212.
