Central Washington Hospital Hospice
Hospice is a concept of caring that focuses on comfort, rather than curative treatment. We offer a comprehensive and coordinated program of care honoring the unique physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each child, adult and family member based on the patient's wishes and family's needs. Pain and symptom management is paramount in our care.
"Thank you for the wonderful care our Mother received during the final weeks of her life. It was reassuring to know that, when I couldn't be there, a committed hospice team was providing the care and support Mother needed."
Hospice affirms life and regards dying as a normal process. The goal is to assist patients and families to attain the necessary preparation for a death that is compassionate, peaceful and dignified.
Central Washington Hospital Hospice provides this care in the patient's home, a nursing home or wherever the patient resides. Our services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Read more about hospice services.
