Our Billing Process
Here are some key things you need to know about Central Washington Hospital's billing process.
- You may receive several bills for your hospital stay.
- Your hospital bill reflects all of the services you received during your stay, such as room charges and diagnostic tests.
- You will receive a separate bill from your attending (private) physician and additional separate bills from any specialists who consult on your care.
- If you have certain tests or treatment in the hospital, you may also receive bills from physicians you do not see in person. These bills are for professional services by physicians who interpret your test results or provide other services. Pathologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, emergency physicians and other specialists perform these services and are required to submit separate bills.
Our staff will explain or interpret any bills for you, answer any Medicare/Medicaid questions, or prepare a detailed hospital bill for insurance purposes. Please contact the Patient Services department for assistance. Please allow 2 weeks for completion of a detailed bill.
