Kristen received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree from Washington State University and a Masters in Science in Nursing degree from Graceland University. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

A Wenatchee native, Kristen joined Central Washington Hospital Family Physicians Clinic as a primary care provider after more than 10 years of emergency nursing. In addition to working in Central's Emergency Department, Kristen has been employed as a clinical nursing instructor at Wenatchee Valley College, and a flight nurse for Lifeline Ambulance. Kristen has participated in several medical missions to Guatemala.

In her spare time, she enjoys travel, biking, skiing, reading and fiber arts.
