 Joint Commission

Central Washington Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission. Our hospital voluntarily submits to evaluations which ensure our compliance with national hospital standards on a continuing basis. Joint Commission accreditation is your assurance that Central Washington Hospital practices continuous quality monitoring to provide you with quality care. Joint Commission surveys are conducted every three years, with unannounced surveys occurring 18 to 39 months after the previous survey. Central Washington Hospital was most recently Joint Commission re-accredited in 2005, and is in full compliance with all applicable standards. Our next survey will be performed some time in 2008.

Patients and customers, as well as medical staff, hospital employees and volunteers, with unresolved patient safety or quality of care concerns should contact the Joint Commission Office of Quality Monitoring at (630) 792-5636. The complaint Hotline (including requests for a Public Information Interview) is (800) 994-6610, or email complaint@jointcommission.org.
