Marc Heminger Honored at 20th Annual Gala

On Friday, November 11, 2011, the Foundation’s Spirit of A.Z. Wells Gala honored Hospital board member Marc Heminger for his many years of service to the hospital and the greater community. Marc was the twentieth annual award recipient.

The gala, with a Black & White theme, featured a unique five-course tapas (little plates) menu created by the Coast Hotel’s Portland chefs. Glen Isaacson and his band Swing Shift made the music happen for the gala guests. Anne and Robbin Wagg took portraits as the invitees arrived and candid shots during the event. The program ended with the raffle drawing for one large sapphire and diamond pendant, and five sapphire pendants, all created and donated by Bruce Simpson Fine Jewelers
