Samuel Ortiz, MD, FACP

Dr. Samuel Ortiz is a native of Mexico. He obtained his medical degree at the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California in Tijuana, Mexico in 1992 where he was an Honorable Member of the University Council. In Tijuana, Dr. Ortiz worked as a Medical Educator and Attending Physician.
In 1998, Dr. Ortiz moved to the United States to further pursue his medical education and training. In 1999, he began his internal medicine residency training at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, NJ. He served as Chief Resident during his third year and graduated in June 2002. In July 2002, Dr. Ortiz was appointed to the teaching faculty of RBMC as Director of Medical Student Education and Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Ortiz enjoys the practice of medicine and the complex challenges that are experienced in the specialty of Internal Medicine.
He is devoted to his family, profession and the advancement of Medical Education. He enjoys serving the patients in the Wenatchee area. Dr. Ortiz and his wife, Angelique, have two children and in their spare time enjoy biking, camping, fishing and other outdoor activities.
